Volunteer

A thriving community life depends on the active contributions of its members, including their diverse gifts, insights and enthusiasms. We currently have opportunities for people to fill the following roles: Treasurer, Youth Leaders, Stewards, Sunday coffee makers, and Local preachers. Please speak to one of the stewards if you think you could help or would like to know more about what is involved.

Financial support

The ministry of the Methodist Church is funded solely by voluntary contributions. These gifts make possible the ministry of the local church, the circuit and the wider supporting structures of the Methodist Church. If you wish to support us by making a regular or a one-off donation, you would be welcome to do so by one of the means described below.

Giving through your bank account

Many people like to make a regular gift to the church through a standing order. Please speak to the treasurer for details of how to do either or both of these things.

Sunday offerings

A cash offering is taken during Sunday services, and a card reader is also available at the back of the church for those who prefer to give in different ways.

Tax-efficient giving

If you are a UK taxpayer, you can increase the value of your gift by completing a gift aid declaration. Please speak to the treasurer for a form.
